The TRIUM MENA group launches in Dubai

guests1In a testament to our growing global community, TRIUM is pleased to celebrate the launch of the TRIUM Middle East and North Africa (MENA) group; designed to create a platform for TRIUMers in the region to connect, share experiences and meet business leaders from the region.

Students past and present gathered with faculty and staff for a special MENA group launch event in Dubai where they welcomed a number of key guest speakers including Fadi Ghandour, CEO/Founder of global logistics company – Aramax. Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from a panel of successful entrepreneurs in the MENA region who drew on their diverse professional experiences to provide the TRIUM community with their insights on the topic of ‘The Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in the MENA Region: Trends, Opportunities and Challenges’.

The TRIUM community had the opportunity to partake in an interactive discussion with panellists including Elissa Freiha, an angel investor and founder of WOMENA, a Dubai-based angel investment platform; Amir Farha a successful serial entrepreneur, investor and mentor and Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for SME’s Development (Dubai SME), an agency of the Department of Economic Development in Dubai.

panel2This inaugural TRIUM event was followed by a networking cocktail reception where alumni had the chance to connect with their fellow alums and share their insights and experiences of the program with prospective students.

Congratulations to MENA group leader and C2017 student Miriam Kiwan, who arranged this successful launch event which celebrates TRIUM’s highly successful network of international business leaders who support and guide each other as part of TRIUM’s lifelong learning experience. A true testament to the extraordinary associations the program brings. We look forward to working closely with the TRIUM MENA group as part of our growing global community of TRIUM-ers!
