So the thing to think about is, even if you don’t want to be an entrepreneur, let’s say you’re sitting in a corporate job, you like what you’re doing, etc., etc.. More and more, what we focus on in TRIUM is more and more the world is uncertain and uncertainty requires organizations – whether you’re a for-profit, non-profit, I don’t care what organization – you have to be able to innovate to come up with new ideas, new ways.
In fact, one of the things we know that predict organizations’ success is their ability to innovate. So what the Capstone Project does is take you step by step through that innovation process, not only through (and I hate the term) ideation, but it takes you through this idea generation, how you take that idea and start to polish it into a business proposal, with a business plan with the research, etc., etc..
So even if that’s not what you’re going to do, I don’t care what organization you’re in, you’re going to need to understand how the innovative process works, and without that, you’re going to be lost eventually.
