Kate is an Executive Coach currently based in London and working extensively in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.  While much of her industry knowledge is concentrated in financial services, luxury, consulting and hotel she is fortunate to have gained experience with clients in a wide range of sectors including energy, telecoms, construction, recruitment, FMCG, trading (sogo-shosha) and not-for-profits.

In addition to her work with TRIUM, Kate coaches on MBA and Finance programmes at London Business School in Dubai and Hong Kong, serves as faculty for the ING Banking Academy in the Netherlands and Singapore, and leads the coaching team for a flagship programme for the luxury group LVMH across three continents.

As a career coach, Kate’s best contribution is in the exploratory and often philosophical early stages of career and work shifts.  If you are at the stage of thinking about where your life and work is going next, Kate will listen deeply and reflect back what she hears about your values, identities and aspirations.  She will work with you on those important experimental next steps to further discovery and action. She is not an expert in the more tactical aspects of career change such as executive search, cv review, social media strategy and interview skills.

Kate’s own career began in language teaching in Japan before moving to a leadership role in new large scale UNHCR refugee resettlement programmes in Hong Kong.  She then moved to the start-up team of City University Hong Kong, designing courses that enabled the institution to achieve its university status. Drawing from this experience, in her first Master’s dissertation Kate explored the topic of rapid change in multi-cultural environments and was invited to join change management and service strategy consultancy Performa International, an innovative niche provider originating in hotels and airlines and successfully leveraging its relevance right across the service industry before its sale. Kate’s next stage was to consolidate her content knowledge and extend her networks through EMBA studies, which she later complimented with coaching and mentoring qualifications. She currently runs an independent practice in executive coaching, leadership team coaching and more broadly the design of executive learning and organisational change.

Kate holds an MSc Management from London Business School, an MA TEFL from the University of Reading, and a BA Hons French and Italian from University College London. She holds a Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring from the Institute of Leadership and Management and is an accredited, experienced user of several leadership development instruments including 360-degree feedback, personality profiling, motivation and values, team effectiveness, cross-cultural effectiveness, leadership derailment and emotional intelligence.

Of Anglo-Indian heritage and with a multi-cultural family background, Kate has lived and worked extensively in 10 countries across Asia and Europe.
