Joanne Bobes, MA, LCSW is an Executive Coach and Leadership Consultant. Trained as an organizational consultant and psychotherapist, Joanne brings a unique blend of business and clinical skills to her work. With experience designing leadership and management training and succession planning programs, Joanne is adept at identifying competencies and capabilities as well as barriers to help clients capitalize on strengths and improve less-developed abilities. Joanne has an engaging and receptive style, working both strategically and tactically with her coaching clients to help them to reflect, grow, evolve and succeed in meeting their goals.

Joanne’s strives to create results through provocative conversations that stimulate new ways of thinking and acting – whether navigating within an organization as a leader or re-branding for an effective job search. Joanne works with individuals at all levels and job functions, including Entrepreneurs, C-Suite, VP, and Director levels.

In addition to her Coaching practice, Joanne has taught a career development seminar series at New York University, worked as a Consultant with NYU Stern’s Admissions Office, and has served as an Executive Coach and Career Consultant for TRIUM since 2012.

Her early career exposed her to small and mid-sized consulting firms and internal work with a Fortune 500 company as a Learning and Leadership Specialist. For the last 18 years, Joanne has been working as an executive coach and career advisor and as a training consultant with corporations and nonprofit organizations.

In addition to consulting and coaching, Joanne also allocates time to her psychotherapy practice, working with individuals, couples, and families. She presents on health-related topics at educational symposiums and has published articles on LinkedIn and in mental health journals on workplace stress and its impact on health.

Joanne earned an Masters degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University, and a Masters degree in clinical social work from New York University.
