Angelo Noronha

Angelo Noronha is Chief of Sales and Marketing: Europe – Alliance Tire Group – A KOHLBERG KRAVIS ROBERTS (KKR) Portfolio Company. Angelo came to TRIUM with experience in a diverse range of industries including textiles and automotive. He spearheads all sales and marketing functions for his company ATG who are a world leader in the off-highway tyre industry.

Many of the assignments and reading material were relevant and related to work, so it only helped to see the course as an extension of work!

Having started his career in India with companies such as Tata Motors, Angelo now lives and works in the Netherlands. Here Angelo gives us an insight into his time with TRIUM. He describes his TRIUM experience in three words as experiential, relevant and enriching. Given his wide remit, Angelo admits that managing his work/life balance has been challenging but the modular structure of the TRIUM programme has meant that the load has been evenly spread.

With 6 modules in 5 locations across the world over 17 months, TRIUM’s format means that participants can continue to work and apply their learning with immediate effect.

Angelo’s company were fully supportive of his enrolment on the TRIUM programme and he is fully committed to his large team and wide remit for the foreseeable future, but where does Angelo see himself in 5 years’ time? The aim is to use the TRIUM experience and knowledge to lead an organisation in the capacity of CEO.

As Angelo looks to the future he says that will take with him adrenaline: charged with valuable knowledge, insights and case studies – filled with ideas to implement at work and a network of high potential and high calibre friends. Angelo hopes that his wider perspective will demonstrate his ability to take on more responsibilities and bigger even challenges.

TRIUM attracts senior business leaders with international profiles, ready to meet likeminded people and to take the next step, like Angelo. With an average of 30 nationalities from a broad range of industries in each class, the peer to peer learning is a valuable takeaway but the stand-out moments of the TRIUM programme for Angelo were in the classroom. Not just one but three: Professor Aswath Damodaran’s class on corporate finance, Professor Frederic Dalsace on marketing and Professor Larry Franklin on Deal Making in China and Asia.

Angelo goes on to join the ranks of 800 TRIUM alumni spread across the globe.
