Meet TRIUM in London

8-17 September 2026, London

Explore Geopolitics in London

Join TRIUM in London during Module 1 and see the program in action. Sit in on a live class and explore how global politics and economics shape the decisions leaders make today. Register for a class visit here.

Why Geopolitics, Why London?

Global business is being shaped by political decisions, shifting alliances, and changes in how markets are governed. London is where TRIUM begins that conversation at LSE, one of the world’s leading social science universities. The module is designed to help senior leaders connect the wider context to real decisions, from market access and regulation to financial stability and strategic risk. Not every session is geopolitics-focused, but this lens runs through the week and frames how the cohort approaches business decisions from day one.

Session Spotlights

The Political Economy of Globalization
TRIUM Academic Dean Robert Falkner examines a shifting international order and the risks of deglobalization for business.

The European Union: Between Integration and Disintegration
Sara Hobolt explores whether the EU can become a stronger geopolitical actor, and what it would take for Europe to find a more coherent collective voice as global pressures mount.

Accounting for Executives
Joanne Horton encourages leaders to look beyond traditional accounting methods to better understand the numbers that shape business decisions.

Latin America in the World Economy
Jean Paul Faguet looks at why Latin America remains central to the world economy, and what that means for leaders working across trade, investment, and global supply chains.

Globalization, Inequality, and Work
Swati Dhingra, fresh from her role on the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee, discusses “slowbalization,” the decline of trade as a share of world GDP since the financial crisis, and what that shift means for business and leaders today.

International Finance and the Global Economy
Jeff Chwieroth discusses how geopolitical rifts are spilling into global finance, from volatility to questions around the dominance of the US dollar, and what political shocks can mean for long-term financial stability.

International Politics in an Age of Uncertainty and Power Shift
Mick Cox examines how a move from a unipolar to a more multipolar order is reshaping the landscape for global leaders, with practical implications for strategy and international engagement.
