Perspective on Graduation
There
were some TRIUM Faculty from the programme who were
able to share the graduation experience with the Class
of 2009. Ingo Walter, who taught Risk Management to
the students in Module 6, and Marc Bertoneche who taught
Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances in Module 4, give
their perspective on being part of the Class of 2009's
special day.
Ingo
Walter:
"I always find graduations to be very special events,
with former students either moving to a wholly new chapter
in their lives or onto a much faster escalator. It goes
without saying that faculty like to find out how it
all turned out, even a decade or two later. We like
to think we make a difference, and the more confirmation
the better.
Probably more than anyone else the English know how
to commemorate these events and the TRIUM graduation
was no exception -- those of us on the faculty look
forward to learning about the next chapters in your
lives."
Marc Bertoneche:
"The
graduation ceremony was wonderful. It gave me the opportunity
to see again the TRIUM 2009 participants and to meet
their families. The level of enthusiasm, energy and
friendship was amazing. I enjoyed every minute I spent
with the class of 2009, in the classroom and outside.
I have above all appreciated their remarkable balance
between
a great professionalism associated with a hard work
and a fantastic sense of humour.
Keep your positive spirit, keep your enthusiasm and
keep your high values and thank
you for making my teaching job so exciting and so rewarding.
I wish all of you the very best, as you all deserve
the best, and look forward to keeping in touch with
you in the future."
