LSE

LSE Alumni Professional Mentoring Network
The Mentoring Network enables LSE alumni to help each other with career and professional development advice, and is a great way to maximize the value of the LSE network.

Alumni mentors post secure profiles on Houghton Street Online, detailing their career history and professional expertise, and then mentees use a system of non-intrusive emails to seek advice and guidance.

For full details, including how to sign up, please see Mentoring and Careers.
For more information on LSE Alumni events, please see Houghton Street Online.

The 2009 NYU Stern Global Alumni Conference in Barcelona is poised to exceed all expectations, with a robust program of panel discussions, social events, and networking opportunities scheduled for the weekend of June 11–13. More than 250 alumni from around the world, distinguished Stern faculty members, and guests are expected to convene for sessions led by:

-Professor Edward Altman, Restructuring and the Credit Markets in 2009–2010;
-Professor Roy Smith, in conversation with the CEO of Banco Santander, Alfredo Sáenz;
-Professor Marti Subrahmanyam, Family Business in the 21st Century

Other panel topics include: The Growth of Global Cinema; Architecture and Urban Development; and NYU’s Global Network University.

All Executive MBA and TRIUM alumni are also invited to join Vice Dean Tom Pugel and the Executive Programs Alumni Committee for a special dinner on the evening of Friday, June 12. With more than 40 EMBA and TRIUM alumni already signed up, this event will offer another excellent opportunity to expand your personal network and reminisce about your days at Stern.
