LSE Alumni Professional Mentoring Network
The Mentoring Network enables LSE alumni to help each
other with career and professional development advice,
and is a great way to maximize the value of the LSE
network.
Alumni
mentors post secure profiles on Houghton
Street Online, detailing their career history and
professional expertise, and then mentees use a system
of non-intrusive emails to seek advice and guidance.

NYU
The 2009 NYU Stern Global Alumni Conference
in Barcelona is poised to exceed all expectations, with
a robust program of panel discussions, social events,
and networking opportunities scheduled for the weekend
of June 11–13. More than 250 alumni from around
the world, distinguished Stern faculty members, and
guests are expected to convene for sessions led by:
-Professor Edward Altman, Restructuring and the Credit
Markets in 2009–2010;
-Professor Roy Smith, in conversation with the CEO of
Banco Santander, Alfredo Sáenz;
-Professor Marti Subrahmanyam, Family Business in the
21st Century
Other panel topics include: The Growth of Global Cinema;
Architecture and Urban Development; and NYU’s
Global Network University.
All Executive MBA and TRIUM alumni are also invited
to join Vice Dean Tom Pugel and the Executive Programs
Alumni Committee for a special dinner on the evening
of Friday, June 12. With more than 40 EMBA and TRIUM
alumni already signed up, this event will offer another
excellent opportunity to expand your personal network
and reminisce about your days at Stern.
