Why should I choose TRIUM over a
more traditional executive MBA program?
The TRIUM program emphasizes the knowledge, skills and perspective
senior level global executives need to conduct business
effectively in today's global market. Members of the student
cohort are leaders in their respective industries residing
throughout the world. Corporations interested in developing
key employees for positions of increasing global responsibility
should consider TRIUM, not only as a professional development
opportunity, but also to help retain top talent. The internationally
diverse TRIUM cohort also gives global executives the opportunity
to build an important lifelong network.

How does the TRIUM curriculum differ
from other global degree programs?
Through the participation of the prestigious London School
of Economics, TRIUM is the only MBA program that integrates
into its curriculum the economic, social and political context
in which business decisions are taken today. These areas
are recognized as critical to global business but are often
neglected in "traditional" MBA programs. NYU Stern's strength
in finance and accounting, HEC Paris' leadership in marketing
and management, coupled with top-ranked faculty who teach
in every learning location ensures academic rigor and excellence
throughout the program.

Who should apply to the TRIUM program?
TRIUM is designed for senior executives at a global corporation
or in a company/business planning to expand into global
markets. The program focuses on the challenges senior managers
face when conducting business internationally. TRIUM offers
its participants the opportunity to pursue an MBA in a cohort
of fast-tracked peers from around the world.

Am I still eligible if I already
have an MBA?
Yes. Global developments over the past decade have dramatically
changed the business arena. In addition, the program's sociopolitical
and economic perspective, areas critical for global business
success but not typically addressed in MBA curricula, bring
additional depth to the program.

Will TRIUM use distance learning?
Recognizing the value of the "actual" classroom, TRIUM features
10 weeks of intensive class time. Although there are no
"online" classes, students complete approximately 10-15
hours of work per week between modules. This critical component
of the program, which includes pre- and post-module preparation
and follow-through, is facilitated by Ed-Web, an online
platform that enables TRIUM students to collaborate on team
assignments and to work from their homes or offices or while
traveling.

What credentials will I receive as
a graduate? Is TRIUM accredited?
TRIUM graduates earn a single MBA degree jointly conferred
by NYU Stern, LSE and HEC Paris, all of which are accredited
by the most widely respected academic accreditation organizations
worldwide, including AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.

Will I have to relocate
to participate in TRIUM?
No. The TRIUM program is designed with senior executives'
schedules in mind. Students live and work in their home
countries, with only 10 weeks of out-of-office time over
the 16-month duration of the program.

What are the learning
locations, and how are they selected?
TRIUM features six intensive, intellectually rigorous modules
held in five key business centers around the world. Modules
will be held at NYU Stern, LSE, HEC Paris and at two additional
international locations chosen annually for their relevance
to current global business issues.

Will information sessions be offered?

How much individual
vs. group-work is involved?
Generally, deliverables are approximately 50% individual-based
and 50% group-based. When group-work is submitted, everyone
in a team receives the same grade.

How are work groups
created?
The TRIUM Program carefully forms work groups of 4-6 people,
paying special attention to provide each time with a balanced
combination of functional, geographical, cultural and experiential
diversity. There are three types of work groups in TRIUM:
1) TRIUM-formed groups of 4-6 people, which are changed
at the half-way point in the program, in order to maximize
the depth and breadth of exposure and learning, gained from
other classmates; 2) Ad-hoc groups of varying numbers, as
professors may, at times, request that different groupings
of participants work together on an in-class assignment;
3) Final strategic project groups of 4-6 members. The final
strategic project groups are self-formed: you choose your
teammates!

What is the final strategic
project?
The final strategic project is the culminating feature of
the TRIUM Global EMBA program. It is an integrative exercise,
which gives participants the opportunity to apply the concepts
and techniques learned throughout the program to the analysis
of a concrete project. The project is carried out by self-formed
groups and the deliverable is a thoroughly developed proposal
on a strategic corporate initiative. The final report will
be presented to a 'board of directors' during the final
module. The analysis underlying the proposal must reflect
the same rigorous academic standards that prevail throughout
the TRIUM program.
